Quality Assurance (QA) of IC3 fleet in Israel​

  • KP Consulting team consisting of an IC3 engineer, team leader and QA-technicians

  • Establishment of Quality Assurance (QA) on fleet of 45 IC3 trainsets (classification of failures in security classes, measurement and registration procedure during inspection and reporting)

  • Training of Technical Staff (OJT) in quality control

  • For most of the time, the team covers all trains in the fleet (3 daily shifts) after completion of maintenance before the train sets were released for operation.

  • The result was an improvement in train maintenance (availability, MTBF, etc.) by more than 50%.
